Dark Knowledge

Using dark knowledge requires a Knowledge check of a type appropriate to the creature faced.

  1. Knowledge (arcana) check reveals secrets of magical beasts
  2. Knowledge (Architecture & Engineering) check reveals secrets of constructs
  3. Knowledge (dungeoneering) pertains to aberrations
  4. Knowledge (religion) covers undead
  5. Knowledge (the planes) applies to outsiders and elementals

Dark Knowledge: Tactics
You are have learned a lot about other creatures and utilize that to help fight them.
Prerequisites: Int 13, 1 rank in any Knowledge skill
Benefit: 3 times a day the character can use the Dark Knowledge ability. With a DC 15 check the character gives all allies a +1 bonus to attack and damage to any creatures of that specific type. This bonus increase by an additional +1 for every 5 over the DC.

Dark Knowledge: Puissance
You gain other Dark Knowledge abilities.
Prerequisites: Dark Knowledge: Tactics, 5 ranks in any one Knowledge skill and 1 rank in another.
Benefit: The character can use his Dark Knowledge to help his allies fight off the corrupting influence of other creatures. With a DC 15 check the character gives all allies a +1 bonus to Savings Throws against any creatures of that specific type. This bonus increase by an additional +1 for every 5 over the DC.
Special: The character also gets an additional use of their Dark Knowledge abilities.

Dark Knowledge: Foe
You gain other Dark Knowledge abilities.
Prerequisites: Dark Knowledge: Tactics, 5 ranks in any two Knowledge skills.
Benefit: With a DC 15 check the character gives all allies a bonus to damage equal to 1d6 against any creatures of that specific type. This bonus increase by an additional 1d6 for every 5 over the DC.
Special: The character also gets an additional use of their Dark Knowledge abilities.

Dark Knowledge: Foreknowledge
You gain other Dark Knowledge abilities.
Prerequisites: Dark Knowledge: Tactics, 5 ranks in any two Knowledge skills and 1 rank in another.
Benefit: With a DC 15 check the character gives all allies a +1 bonus to AC against any creatures of that specific type. This bonus increase by an additional +1 for every 5 over the DC.
Special: The character also gets an additional use of their Dark Knowledge abilities.

Extra Dark Knowledge
Prerequisites: Dark Knowledge
Benefit: You gain one more use of your Dark Knowledge abilities.
